Abstract

This paper reviews the research progress of TCM treatment of esophageal cancer, and expounds the etiology and pathogenesis of esophageal cancer from the understanding of ancient doctors and modern medicine respectively The therapeutic principles and methods were expounded from syndrome differentiation, classification, special prescription, combined radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and the research progress on the therapeutic mechanism of TCM for esophageal cancer was summarized.
