Control and automation in its wide-ranging sense plays a fundamental role in chemical and process industries. Control engineering is concerned with the understanding and control of machines, processes, and industrial automation systems to provide useful economic products for society, and is based on foundations of feedback theory and linear systems analysis.
The subject of the book is multidisciplinary in nature since it deals with dynamic systems drawn from the disciplines of electrical, electronics, chemical, mechanical, aerospace, and instrumentation engineering. This book will present a widespread analysis and design of various types of control systems, such as intelligent, optimal and robust control. The requirement for the reader is some knowledge of differential equations, modeling, and mechanics.
Objectives of the book
This book is intended to be a key reference for engineers and scientists interested in applying new computational/mathematical tools for solving the complicated problems of mathematical modelling, simulation, and control. The book can also be used at the graduate or advanced undergraduate level and as a textbook or major reference for courses like process control, non-linear control of dynamical systems, applied artificial intelligence, and many others.

Chapter Submission Procedure
Researchers are invited to submit on or before Jul. 15, 2015 full chapters. All submitted chapter will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Review Results are expected to be returned before Aug.15, 2015. Contributors may also be requested to serve as a reviewer for this project. Final chapters are expected to be submitted before Aug. 30, 2015.
This book is scheduled to be published by Science Publishing Group and it is anticipated to be released in 2015.
