Abstract: Health information systems generate information to inform health planners and decision makers on what is happening at the delivery facilities. Health Management Information System (HMIS) improves health management; which is pre-requisite for good health care delivery services. HMIS is there to fill the gap between disease occurrences or health problems and the response of the health service providers. A successful Pharmaceutical Management Information System (PMIS) is able to synthesize the large volume of data generated by pharmaceutical management operations. This study was aim to assess the practice of HMIS on HIV/AIDS related commodities in public health facilities found in Harar town, Ethiopia from March 27- April 27, 2018. The study was conducted a cross sectional study design and used quantitative data collection techniques to gather the required information. Among all health facilities majority (87.5%) of health facilities, used HMIS in their store, while 12.5% of Health facilities was not used HMIS. Out of all public health, three fourth of health facilities (75%) had a computer to manage patient and drug related information and 12.5% health facilities had not computer and they were used manual records for managing information in their pharmacies. One third of health facilities (62.5%) were used daily ART register for recording information on the quantity of ART drugs dispensed. The study also revealed that one hospital was used only Stock card to record information on the quantity of ARV drugs in the store and 37.5% were used Bin card, 50%) were used both Stock card and Bin card. Lack of training, (Adjusted odds ratio (AOR) =3.02, 95% CI (1.8-4.6)), lack of skilled manpower (AOR=1.9, 95% CI (1.2-2.5) and lack of budget (AOR=3.8, 95%CI (2.1-5.7) were factors having statically significant associations with Health Management Information System Practice.

Abstract: Agroforestry is an ancient practice and also the farmers are too much familiarized with it in Ethiopia. It contributes incredible benefits via socio-economic and environment. The main idea of this paper is to review Agro-forestry system/practices and its contribution in Ethiopia. Most common types of agroforestry practices are home garden, farmland, woodlot and coffee farm; however, their distribution and perception of farmer on those various practice varied. An amazing, each agroforestry practice contributes multiple benefits because it provides various services from specific unit of land. The major advantage was diversify productions, which is the best strategy, particularly for smallholder’s farmer because their livelihood depending on farming system. Agroforestry practice is highly recommended and acceptable than mono-cropping consequently it provides a socio-economic benefits like tree products (Timber, firewood, construction materials and fruit for food) and income, whereas environmental services (reduce soil erosion, increase soil moisture and fertility, coffee shade, and keep micro climate balance). Generally, it is good tool for mitigating and adapting climate change. As result farmers were accounted it as a mainstay for maximizing their land productive capacity then improve the smallholder’s livelihoods. Therefore, the government should encourage agroforestry practice for improving the livelihoods of farmer and smoothly to tolerate the variable of climate change.

Abstract: Government procurement has great advantages in reducing the uncertainty of innovation, expanding the demand for innovative products, making up for the positive externalities of innovation, and improving the quality of public services, which can directly promote innovation. The use of government procurement to promote innovation is a common practice in many OECD countries. These countries have developed legal or policy tools to ensure that government procurement fully promotes innovation, and integrate innovation goals with other policy goals to better address social challenges. However, in recent years, China has not attached importance to the role of government procurement in promoting innovation, which is not conducive to the development of innovation. By learning from the experience of OECD countries, China should restore and improve the policy design to make it more operable and integrate the goal of promoting innovation into other social goals.

Abstract: Tourism is a crucial source and an added value in many developing countries. In Morocco, the sector is of paramount significance with a national GDP of about 20% and its effects have become noticeable. The methodology which is used in this study is qualitative while the data is analyzed according to a process-based approach in two longitudinal periods, from 2001 to 2009 and from 2010 to 2014. Through a process-based longitudinal study, the effects of tourism were analyzed highlighting the three pillars of sustainability, namely the economic, environmental and socio-cultural milieu in Essaouira in the south-west of Morocco. The objective of this paper is to identify, among others, the notorious impacts of mass tourism on fragile destinations in terms of their load capacity, promotion of youth employment and respect for indigenous traditions. This study also aims to assess the influence of tourism on certain destinations that depend, to a large extent, on this activity. It also seeks to test a series of indicators germane to sustainable development in sensitive areas. Within results, it was found that tourism, as an industry, is related to the international community and the tested sustainable development indicators revealed that tourism is environmentally destructive. Job creators in this field contributed to the changes that occurred in the indigenous people’s lives and the state’s intervention was of paramount significance to preserve the existence of a potential vanishing culture.
