Abstract

Competition law is referred to as one of the requirements and factors affecting the success of free market economic system. It is assumed that a fair competition between those active in the field of production and distribution leads to economic efficiency and welfare increase. Although this new branch of law has raised interesting and far-reaching interdisciplinary topics among jurists and economists for a long time, the Iranian legal system has recently taken the first steps in this field. Therefore, it is essential to prepare arrangements and formulate the fundamental principles in this area.
