Abstract

Chinese phonology is a traditional subject on the diachronic evolution of Chinese speech, which is constantly regarded as “Lost Knowledge” for it is hard to learn. In the colleges and universities, the people who want to teach and learn are quite a few, even today the condition of teaching and learning has not been fundamentally improved. How to solve this problem, some discussion and research are required in terms of the characteristics, teaching status and coping strategies.
