Historical Reflection: Drama Poetry and Mentality of Literati in Kangxi and Yongzheng Period

Abstract

Kang-Yong period again for compiling Ming History made reflection of history became a focus in the field of historiography and literature, but the discourse of power and reflection on history cannot equal to indulge in literati of different voices, literati traveled between the width and extent which reflected on the history and accept situation are very worthy of attention. Previous studies have interpreted history from the point of prohibition, ignoring dynamic process of historical change. From a literary perspective, two plays so called "legendary double jade" are most closely to this period and history reflection, from "play history" to "court disaster due to plays", drama poetry set record changes from perspective of history and formation of literati heart to complete this period.
