Abstract
Port, artificial island and other infrastructure projects are mostly located in the open sea, and the construction period spans the monsoon period, facing the influence of medium and long period waves and surging waves. Offshore construction platform can walk freely in coastal areas with water depths up to 10m and the shift of the platform no longer needs the assistance of the positioning anchor, which greatly increases the operation efficiency. It is less affected by the long period wave and surging wave and will effectively solve the problems of large motion response and short operating window in coastal construction. The offshore tracked walking construction platform is mainly composed of walking system, hydraulic support system, carrying platform and control system. The platform deck can be equipped with different construction equipment to realize offshore construction operations such as piling, soft foundation treatment and offshore auxiliary platform. Through the development of the testing platform, the feasibility of the scheme is verified. The walking test is carried out to realize the functions of underwater crawler walking, active adjustment and vibration suppression, thus solving some technical problems including the system reliability of the platform, terrain adaptability and underwater track synchronization. The successful development of the testing platform is of great significance to the research and development of general coastal construction equipment.
