Brief Review in Research Advance of Critical Thinking in China and Other Countries

Abstract

The research of critical thinking in China and other countries are analyzed and summarized from the representative literatures published in the past ten years. The process of the generation, understanding and recognition of critical thinking were overviewed, the importance for human being to acquire the ability of critical thinking in today’s society was pointed out. The research, development and current status of critical thinking in other countries and China were retrospect as well. The goals and core for research on critical thinking, the educational measures and methods for enhancing the ability of critical thinking were proposed. Finally, an outlook on developmental trend in the research on critical thinking in the international scope was also presented in this review.
