The Case and Analyze of the Classic Wine Fever Elimination of Linagqi Farm of Guangxi State Farms Yongxin Animal Husbandry

Abstract

Integrated classical swine fever virus (CSFV) antigen and antibody detection, elimination of low-level antibody breeding pigs, CSFV vaccine immunization and other technologies, combined with the introduction of healthy reserve breeding herds and the improvement of the pig farm bio-safety system, successfully control and eradication the CSF disease of the farm. A total of 11 568 piglet CSFV antigen negative breeding herds were constructed and keep for 7 consecutive years. The sow mating births rate is 88.15%, the annual output is 24.40 heads, the head consumption is 52.32 kg, the whole group weight ratio is 3.50, the fat pig weight ratio is 2.84, and the female pigs provide 22.36 heads per sow year. According to the data from 2005 to 2015, the pigs group death rate of Liangqi original breeding farm is 5.68% lower than the other farms of Guangxi State-owned Farm Yongxin Animal Husbandry Group Co., Ltd.; Compared to other pig farms of the company, the medicine cost of basic pigs, nursery herds and finishing pigs of the farm were1.05 yuan/kg, 4.75 yuan/head and 7 yuan/head lower than the others and the weight gain cost were 1.37 yuan/kg, 6 yuan/head and 45 yuan/head lower than the others respectively. The price of Pedigree pig, binary mixed and pigs were 750 yuan/head, 155 yuan/head and 35 yuan/head higher, Per head of commercial profit was 140.15 yuan/head higher than the other farms of the company. The Liangqi original breeding farm provided the CSFV antigen negative swine 234300 head in these 7 years.
