Analysis and Treatment of Oil Leakage at Turbine End Excitation End of a Generator

Abstract

After Unit 2 is put into operation, the oil leakage in the middle of the steam and excitation ends of the generator is relatively large, which affects the safety of production. The causes of oil leakage are analyzed, and temporary measures are taken to prevent major equipment damage during operation. Taking advantage of the opportunity of unit maintenance, the upper end cap of generator steam end and excitation end is disintegrated. It is found that the middle side sealant strip is not filled, which causes insufficient deformation of the sealant strip. The gap between oil seal, oil holder and sealing bush is repaired and adjusted. In the process of overhaul, the organization, safety and technical measures are strictly implemented, and the "four-stage" acceptance is carried out to completely eliminate the oil leakage of turbogenerator.
