The Research of the Self-Healing System in Smart Grid Has a New Direction
The research of the self-healing system in smart grid is no longer bewildered, it has a new research direction already. The research focus of the self-healing system should be put on the research of the "self-healing recovery control technology", to develop the research of intelligent expert system is used as a breakthrough, to deal with different types of electrical accidents is used as the main basis, to fast recover the power supply is used as the main purpose. After the correct way is found, the research of the self-healing system will be not going to take a detour, it will make substantial progress.

The research of the self-healing system in smart grid is no longer bewildered, it has a new research direction already. The research focus of the self-healing system should be put on the research of the "self-healing recovery control technology", to develop the research of intelligent expert system is used as a breakthrough, to deal with different types of electrical accidents is used as the main basis, to fast recover the power supply is used as the main purpose. After the correct way is found, the research of the self-healing system will be not going to take a detour, it will make substantial progress.

Recently the author of Yongchun Liu et al. with a large number of literature and example in a paper is used as basics, they analyzed the research results of the self-healing system in smart grid, found out from that, the new concepts of the “smart grid” and the “self-healing system” were proposed by America Electric Power Science Research Institute since the beginning of the century, although were gotten the multinational colleges and universities, research institutes and professionals wide attention and favor, many countries have spent a lot of manpower, material resources and financial resources to carry out a series of research, also published a large number of research literature. But, from the quantitative point of view, the number of the study in China was in the majority, there was few the literature of the study in other countries. From the quality point of view, the most research results were only spoken generally, the research result which had prominent influence was not many. The author of the paper pointed out, from 2000 year to the present, the subject has been studied for more than and 10 years, however, the research on the "self-healing system" is still teetering in the initial concept, and no substantial progress has been made.

If the research of the self-healing system can be successful, it will bring hope to the automatic processing of electrical accident. In the paper the author of Yongchun Liu said “no matter what kind of electrical accident were occurred in the system, in a few seconds, the longest just a few minutes, the self-healing system will be able to recover the electrical power systems to a certain normal state. The speed and efficiency of the electrical accident treatment will be far beyond the reach of the current power dispatch personnel, and the economic and social benefits will be considerable.”

In this paper the author analyzed and deemed, the research processing of the self-healing system was so slow, that was because the majority of scientific research personnel got into a wrong region of the study, and the more serious was that the research had encountered a thorny bottleneck problem. If they don't jump out the wrong region of the study, and can't break through the bottleneck problem, the research on the self-healing system will be serious difficulties.

“The research of the self-healing system in smart grid includes two aspects, one is the research of the prevention and control, the second is the research of the self-healing recovery control. The former focused on the prediction analysis of any abnormal situation and to take measures in advance. The latter then focused on how to quickly and accurately reconstruct the operation mode of the power grid which had been damaged after an electrical accident happened, that is how to quickly and accurately recover the power supply for the non fault area, the non fault lines, the non fault equipments by the impact of power outages electrical accident, so that the blackout accident losses will be reduced to a minimum extent, simply speaking is how to study the spot treatment for the electrical accident. It can be said that the study on two kinds of the control are very meaningful, also with difficulty. However, in comparison, the self-healing recovery control study will no doubt be more difficult, have more significance.” Yongchun Liu said.

In the paper the author of Yongchun Liu further analysis, In the research processing of the self-healing system, many scholars have done enough articles in the prevention and control, but ignored the research on the "self-healing recovery control technology”. Comparison between the two, although "preventive control" is one of the important research contents on the self-healing system in smart grid, but it is not the research focus of the self-healing system. The focus should be placed on the study of the "self-healing recovery control technology”, this is the right direction for the research of the self-healing system. The former is the icing on the cake, the latter actually is timely assistance.

The author pointed out at the end of the paper, explicit protection action signal and circuit breaker tripping signal are the importance basis of analyzing and judging the range of electrical accident and accident point. Therefore, the author proposed in the paper, on the one hand must to improve the accuracy of relay protection action signal, on the other hand, must to reduce the false alarm rate of SCADA system. To combine the research of the self-healing control with SCADA system, to study and develop the intelligent expert system deeply. Only in this way, the research of the self-healing system will not take a detour, the self-healing recovery control technology developed will also have a real market value.
