About This Special Issue
The special issue Advances in Electrodeposited Materials: Phase Formation, Structure and Properties is directed to interpretation and discussion of the modern state of investigations regarding phase and structure formation in materials being electrodeposited, interdependence between substructure, texture, morphology and properties of electrodeposits, as well as tendencies in obtaining of electrodeposited coatings with enhanced properties. This special issue provides researchers, scientists and experts with a possibility to compare and discuss obtained results and knowledge in the field of electrochemical materials science.

All researchers, scientists and experts working in this field are invited to submit their original papers or scientific reviews on the appropriate topics. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

1. Phase and structure formation in metals being electrodeposited.
2. Influence of nanocrystal, amorphous, and oriented structure (texture) on the properties of electrodeposited materials.
3. Interdependencies between substructure, lattice defects, structural inhomogeneity, surface morphology and phase composition of electrodeposited materials and their properties.
4. Tendencies and directions in obtaining of electrodeposited coatings with enhanced properties.
5. New methods and techniques for structure investigations of electrodeposited metals.

Abstract: The electrodeposition of Ni-Zn alloy coatings having high nickel content (74-97 wt%) from a sulfamate bath was studied. The investigation was performed by means of cyclic voltammetry, potentiostatic electrodeposition, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray analysis. The effect of the experimental parameters (dep... Show More
