About This Special Issue
In the last three decades much curiosity has been given to educational leadership. This is becauseof the widespread belief that the quality of leadership makes a significant difference to school performance and student outcomes. Due to an increasing focus on learning outcomes of students and schools, overall interest in educational reform and school-level accountability created a new global attention in school leadership. Thus, school leadership has become an education policy priority around the world attributable to a strong conviction and empirical supports that school and students’ success or failure is determined by the way a school is governed.
