01About This Special Issue
Blood consists of various components such as leukocytes, erythrocytes, platelets, and coagulation factors, and plays essential roles, including immunity, carrying oxygen, and hemostasis. The science of hematology involves the study of blood and various blood components, including their functions, as well as hematological diseases such as leukemia, malignant lymphoma, myelodysplastic syndrome, idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, and autoimmune hemolytic anemia.This special issue intends to improve the dissemination of knowledge of hematology. The American Journal of Internal Medicine will be considered for publication.
Aims and scope: Significant knowledge of hematological diseases, their diagnosis, treatment, and clinical course.
However, the topic not on the list offers valuable and important knowledge and cases will also be considered for publication.
