About This Special Issue
Cancer Research explores the current trends and innovative technologies under investigation for use in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. This includes but is not limited to: a detailed review of the current methods used in detecting and treating the different types of cancer, exploration of ground-breaking techniques and algorithms in medical imaging systems such as X-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound optical imaging, and magnetic resonance imaging systems for cancer detection, novel approaches leading to improvement in cancer diagnosis, inventive surgical tools and techniques in the treatment of cancer, and novel systems for cancer treatment and diagnosis. Significant improvements to existing tools and systems will also be addressed.

The aim of this special issue is to highlight novel methods, techniques, tools and systems that are being tested to improve the detection and treatment of the different types of cancer, such as breast cancer, skin cancer, bladder cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, and lung cancer.
