About This Special Issue
English Language as a Lingua Franca has always been the end or a mean to an end to most people throughout the world. Accordingly, numerous scholars have focused on English language teaching and learning, trying to develop novel beliefs, models and methods in this era to boost the outcome of English language teaching. It's been for centuries that several teaching methodologies with deep underlying learning beliefs appeared, flourished, strengthened and after awhile weakened to some extends. Still, there are, and there will be significant uncovered issues in English language Teaching and learning (ELTL) domain. The present special issue, with a main focus on English language teaching and learning (ELTL), is considered as an underpinning endeavor to focus on the models and beliefs in English language teaching and learning (ELTL). Regarding the dynamic modern world we are all living in, an important effort has been made to highlight the precious use of most modern techniques and machines used in teaching of English as a foreign or second language. In the qualitative point of view, the most eye catching ideas, beliefs, principles considering both teacher and learner have been elaborated on. Researchers in this special issue have made an effort to clearly demonstrate the undeniable impact of being aware of all these key points in classroom settings abroad. Underlying all these studies, ample pedagogical implications for both teachers and learners can be found which are in fact as an absolute asset to all interested in English language teaching and learning. Through both call for papers and also the help of many Ph.D. candidate studying at Islamic Azad University of Ahar branch in Iran, the present especial issue have been prepared. I also declare my especial thanks to famous professors such as Associate professor Dr.Asadi Aidinlou, Assistant Professor Dr. Haniye Davatgari Asl at department of English language teaching, Islamic Azad University of Ahar, Iran and also Seyed Mahdi Araghi, Assistant Professor, Department of English Language Teaching and Literature, Payame Noor University of Iran. They kindly cooperated with the colleagues to go for the present studies. They are truly real assets in domain of English Teaching as a Foreign Language.
