About This Special Issue
Catalysis – A trend in Energy, Environment and Nanoscience.
The aim of this special issue is to bring forth novel ideas, applications and tools in the most renowned field “Catalysis”.
Catalytic reactions hold great potential to reshape the world, through the rehabilitation of environment and by generating mind blowing products which are of great demand. Development of multi functional catalysts to harness the outcomes from the potential reactions is always the demand. Heterogeneous catalysts play a significant place in the commercial fields of pharmaceutical, petroleum and fuel cells. Therefore, the growth of technologies for establishing successful catalysis-based processes has been very attractive in recent years to ensure sustainable and environmental friendly products. By-products and wastes of agricultural and food industries can be utilized to reduce the dependency on fossil fuels. Understanding the chemistry of these by-products and developing novel processing techniques have seldom been expertise. This special issue is intended to attract cutting edge research and recent advances on novel technologies through catalysis.
We invite investigators to contribute original research articles and well documented review articles that summarize the current state-of-the-art in such areas. We expect that these researches will stimulate the continuing efforts to explore catalysis-based processes to reshape the global energy future.
