About This Special Issue
Special Issue: Several advances in oral immunity have been made in relevance literature. In this issue a series of review articles to be invented concerning; Oral microbiome, oral natural immunity, oral mucosal immune responses ,oral cytokines and diseases ,complement and oral diseases. In addition to research papers on IgA in Peridontitis and gingivitis as well as hypercomplementemia in peridontitis.

Aims and Scope

1. Mapping oral mciroflora
2. Oral mucosal compartment
3. Role of mucosal immunity
4. Role of oral cytokines

Abstract: The oral microbiome is formed and functioned in balanced state during health and in an unbalanced state in the disease conditions. Microbiome in the oral compartment combats the weapons of the invading microbial pathogens .Now , there are a specific microbiome signature in each of the cases of health and disease. Oral microbiome expressed; probioti... Show More
