About This Special Issue
Quantum control of atomic and molecular processes has wide applications in many areas of science, including physics, chemistry and biology. Many theoretical and experimental advances have been made using ultra short laser pulses in the coherent control of quantum dynamics. The aim of this special issue is to provide recent advances and future challenges in coherent control of quantum dynamics. Original research papers are solicited in any aspect of quantum control of atomic and molecular processes.
Aims and Scope:
1. Quantum control of population transfer and coherence
2. Optimal control theory and optimization algorithms
3. Quantum computing and quantum information processing
4. Quantum entanglement and decoherence
