Special Issue

Wave Energy Harvesting

  • Submission Deadline: 20 August 2020
  • Status: Submission Closed

About This Special Issue
This special issue contains simulation of wave energy harvesting devices. Simulation can be done using many of the available methods: FVM, FEM, FDM, spectral element method, BEM, DEM and so on. Simulation should include fluid-structure interaction (FSI) and should model free surface.
Energy harvesting devices can be reciprocating or rotational. Simulation must include the simulated efficiency of the device. Simulation results with comparison with experimental results will have special consideration in this issue. Additionally, simulations using open source software are encouraged.Submissions should include the simulated geometry in a neutral file format.
Aims and Scope:
  1. Wave energy harvesting
  2. CFD
  3. FEM
  4. FVM
  5. FSI
  6. Hydroelasticity
  7. Free surface
  8. Two phase flow
