The volume of contemporary Middle Eastern special issue is increasing and contemporary Middle Eastern special issue to be published later coming year 2015 as entitled "contemporary issues in the Middle East - expectations and challenges for the future". The Special issue will look at some of the differences between the Western and Middle Eastern perceptions of arbitration,and international relations , political sanctions and approaches and will also consider expectations for the future.

Some potential topics include:

(a) the legislative framework to support arbitration, including new arbitration laws and regional arbitral centres and whether the modern concept of arbitration can resolve Shari'a disputes;
(b) The role of separatist groups such as Guerilla tactics by PKK in northern ıraq and PYD in syria
(c) Arab uprisings and Christians in Middle East countries
(d) regional regime change, particularly in Mesopotamia . Contributions can focus on one or a number of countries and comparative pieces referencing a number of jurisdictions would be welcome.
(e) International Oil and Gas Arbitration in Middle east countries such as sale of oil and Gas by ISIS separatist groups in Iraq and in Syria.
(f) Israel and its foreign policy towards mesopotamian region (Turkey,Syria,Iraq and Iran )
(g) labor marke tdiscrimination against Israeli-Arabs and Ties between the Israel and the Kurd
(h) Ethnic inequality in Middle east and Assyrian Federalism and iraqi Kurdistan and Kurds in Syria
(I) European Security and Islamic threat
(j) Islam and Extremes & the failure of US in Iraq – Iraqi shiite and lessons on political wills
(k) İsrael’s partners and the Asad Rgime and Jihadists (ISIS) (Sunni millitant groups ) in Iraq and Syria
(l) Islamic factions in Iraq such as Kata'ib Junud al-Haq, Katiba Bayariq al-Sunna, Kata'ib Allahu Akbar, Liwa Allahu Akbar, Liwa al-Mujahid Omar al-Mukhtar, and Liwa al-Qadisiya al-Islamiya.
