Guidelines for Submission
Manuscripts can be submitted until the expiry of the deadline. Submissions must be previously unpublished and may not be under consideration elsewhere.
Papers should be formatted according to the guidelines for authors (see: http://www.sciencepublishinggroup.com/journal/guideforauthors?journalid=213). By submitting your manuscripts to the special issue, you are acknowledging that you accept the rules established for publication of manuscripts, including agreement to pay the Article Processing Charges for the manuscripts. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the online manuscript submission system at http://www.sciencepublishinggroup.com/login. All papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal and will be listed together on the special issue website.

Global issues and trends in hot spring spas is an emerging research theme in the tourism, and there is a growing understanding of the frameworks for involving spa activities. Therefore, it is not surprising that the number of hot spring spa studies has been increasing trend in recent years.

There is common understanding between health tourism and hot spring spa since health care depends on increasing medical treatment cost, extension of life span, rapid aging of the world population, increase in new alternative treatment methods and increasing prosperity in the worldwide. These trends are the main motivators for visitors to focus on hot spring spa activities. In addition, visitors never choice a hot spring destination any longer, if it do not offer high quality and updated spa services.

The special issue will reflects the highlights of hot spring spa activities by including trend topics such as health benefits of hot spring spas, visitor expectations and satisfactions, quality of accommodations and updated spa services.
