About This Special Issue
Most of the engineering structures involve a structural element with direct contact with soil. When the external forces, such as huge weight, wind, wave or earthquakes, act on these systems, neither the structural displacements nor the ground displacements, are independent of each other. The process in which the response of the soil influences the motion of the structure and the motion of the structure influences the response of the soil is termed as soil-structure interaction.

The aims of Soil-Structure Interaction (special issue) is opening a new access to the valuable source of information and providing an excellent publication about Soil-Structure Interaction problems. The areas covered by special issue of AJCE journal include the current advances in Interactions of.

Aims and Scope:

1. Soil-Foundation Interaction
2. Dynamic Analysis of Infrastructures Considering Soil Effects
3. Experimental Work on Soil-Structure Interaction
4. Soil-Pile-Structure Interaction
5. Interaction Problems at Offshore structures
6. Couple Mechanic in Interaction
7. Construction of Structure on Weak Soil
8. Reliability and Safety Concepts
