Introduction
The Menance of Industrial effluents and processes pose serious health challenges to the poor masses living within the vicinity of such industries. The masses suffer from these pollution because most of them are ignorant about it. It is therefore the responsibility of the illuminated to discover the health hazards caused by these industries and provide solutions to solve this problem with the use of scientific knowledge and thereafter, educate the ignorant on their findings to promote healthy living. This issue is expected to address all these; determine the problems posed by the industries (this would also serve as a medium to checkmate the activities of these industries and encourage the law enforcements in various countries to dot their i's and cross their t's), profer solutions to these pollution (to aid in managing the situation better), and transmission of information to the unillumined. Researchers in the field of pharmaceutical, Environmental sciences, Engineering, Biological sciences, Educational, e.t.c. are invited to make their submissions because the burden rests on us to make the Environment a better, safer and healthy place for the children and the generation yet unborn. It is hoped that the insight the special issue will bring will meet present scientific need, stimulate further research interest and create a platform for future scientific research.
