About This Special Issue
Discourse analysis is to analyze the language 'beyond the sentence'. It examines big hunks of the language as they harmonize together. Therefore, Discourse Analysis regards language use as the reflection and the generator of diversity and social metamorphosis and tackles how the comprehensibility of the complicated linguistic phenomenon and their connotations. It could target and integrate the linguistic frames related to health, education, politics , economics, forensics, ecofeminism, and media and communication.

Discourse analytic methods aims at diagnosing the significant semantic levels : lexicon micro-level and social macro-level. They adopt the different kinds of texts and their communicative purposes that can be represented in ethnography and loquaciousness analysis ,argumentation , perspectivisation , and idiomatic and sarcastic language.

Why is Discourse Analysis studied ?

The language professionals need to precept the language functions and to ameliorate the comprehensibility of the different kinds of the activities of the living organisms.

The education professionals can discern the functions of the textual forms and that would definitely assist English language learners in assimilating the strategies of English skills.

The linguistic critical analysts would canvass with a deep insight the semantic connotations of the texts.
