About This Special Issue
Given the great environmental concern regarding greenhouse gases, especially carbon, studies related to their accumulation and preservation are necessary to leverage the management conservation practices. As practices that degrade the soil, they tend to have less accumulation of carbon in front of the conservationist management, as it is the case of the no-tillage system. Due to environmental concern, a special issue of the journal on carbon and its interactions would be of great importance to the academic and scientific context.

Aims and Scope:

  1. Demonstrate an import of carbon in the soil and its interactions with managements and the environment
  2. Carbon of soil
  3. Humic substances
  4. Interactions of carbon in soil and others
  5. Organic Matter
  6. Carbon and physical-chemycal-biological interactions
