Introduction
The Special Issue “Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in Mechanical Engineering and Application” focuses on application and development of intelligent methods for the solution of scientific and engineering problems. This is accomplished through methods including but not limited to genetic algorithms, neural networks, fuzzy methods, computational optimization, data-driven engineering, statistical methods, machine learning.
The aim of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists, researchers and industry leaders, in the field of intelligent and data-driven methods to disseminate recent findings and progress. This issue provides a platform for the publication of papers in this important field of science and engineering. The range of appropriate contributions is very wide. It covers any field within the computational, analytical, and experimental methods for the design and simulation of complex real-world problems leading to the engineering products and systems. This also includes combination of abovementioned methods in the following fields of science and engineering:
Aims and Scope:
  1. Solid and structural mechanics
  2. Fluid mechanics
  3. Energy
  4. Mechanics of materials
  5. Heat transfer
  6. Dynamics
  7. Geomechanics
  8. Acoustics
  9. Biomechanics
  10. Nanomechanics
  11. Electromagnetics
