About This Special Issue
The special issue named “Mathematical Statistics in data science” under “International Journal of Statistical Distributions and Applications” focus to publish well-written original research articles and studies describing the latest research and developments in the field of probability and statistical distributions in data science. This is a broad-based issue covering all branches of mathematical statistics and interdisciplinary research. This issue specifically focusses on the disciplinary field that uses scientific methods, processes, algorithms and systems to extract knowledge and insights from structured and unstructured data. Data science means everything that has been done on data and this issue means applications of mathematical statistics for effective use of field data, i.e. applied statistics with statistical distributions or mathematical statistics.
Scope and Purpose:
This issue dedicates to promoting the applications of statistical models and mathematical statistics in the field of reliability engineering, industrial quality, transportations equipment, biology, public health policy, clinical medicine, economics and social statistics. All submitted manuscripts will undergo normal review process and the publication decision will be adjudged by quality, novelty, suitability and interest.
The Topics of interest but not limited:
Statistics, probability models, statistical inference for:Biology; reliability; quality control; transportation; economics; medicine; public health policy; social statistics.
