About This Special Issue
Music and dance are closely related since ancient times through various rites. The relationship of these arts, proved to be viable existed, has evolved with changes in living conditions, has acquired new forms. Over the centuries as a result of the symbiosis between the two arts are created many valuable and exciting works.

Among the objectives of the special issue are:
to enable tracking of this relationship over time
to provide a forum for analysis of the processes occurring in composing music
to highlight the processes within the already established musical work-its dramaturgy
to discuss issues related to the interpretation of a musical work, to the creation and implementation of choreographic staging.
