Introduction
As the global concerns in the development of human civilization, the scientific and technological issues of environment protection are currently facing challenges. Lots of technologies have been developed in the last decades to exploit efficiently deal with pollutants (photocatalysis, efficient adsorption technology, etc.,). The key is to acquire advanced nanocomposites with superior structures and capacities as efficient catalysts and adsorbents. Likewise, it is fundamentally important to profoundly understand the relationship between structure and properties.
This special issue will be fully dedicated to the synthesis of advanced nanocomposites for environmental applications. Original researches for new contributions in these fields, as well as review articles, are encouraged.

Aims and Scope:

  1. Photocatalytic water splitting
  2. Photodegradation of organic pollutants
  3. Efficient adsorbents for removing organic or inorganic pollutants
