There is no doubt that geotechnical advances greatly influence on transportation ways concluding in a better contribution to rural and urban development. This issue tries to introduce geotechnical advancements which have shown a substantial growth concerned with each and every field of transportation geotechnology which would be the ground improvement techniques, reinforcement of roads and railways foundation, trenches and embankments stabilization, subgrade consolidation and improvement of foundation layer materials.Aims and Scope:
