Huntington’s disease (HD) is an autosomal dominant neurodegenerative disorder characterized by motor symptoms (primarily chorea), cognitive dysfunction, and psychiatric manifestations. This report presents a case of HD with psychiatric symptoms as the initial presentation, later complicated by cognitive impairment and motor dysfunction. The patient, admitted to our neurology department on August 8, 2024, was definitively diagnosed through comprehensive history-taking, psychiatric evaluation, neuropsychological testing, and genetic analysis. This case highlights the clinical spectrum, diagnostic approach, and therapeutic challenges of HD, aiming to enhance clinicians’ awareness of its atypical presentations.
