Abstract: Object detection is a computer vision technique for locating instances of objects in images. Because edge detection techniques are at the forefront of image processing for object recognition, having a thorough grasp of them is essential. Object detection techniques play a significant rule in image processing. The proposed study aims to present different edge detection techniques that include prewitt, Robert, Sobel and canny edge detection techniques. The purpose of this study is to examine several edge detection methods, such as Canny, Sobel, Prewitt, and Roberts, in order to determine the accurate boundary of an object. The research is based on a collection of aeroplane images obtained from the Aeroplane Design and Engineering Database. Based on the analysis and results, it was observed that canny outperforms then other techniques in properly detecting the object, with an accuracy of 98.84%, compared to Sobel 91.75%, Prewitt 83.74%, and Robert 79.45%. When compared to the Sobel edge detection algorithm, prewitt edge detection algorithm, Robert edge detection algorithm, it has been shown that the canny edge detection algorithm delivers superior accuracy in edge detection and execution time. The proposed model's applicability is compared to various generic edge recognition methods such as Sobel, Prewitt, and Robert edge detection approaches, with the conclusion that our model outperforms others in reliably recognizing aeroplane edges in the image.

Abstract: Background: Gluten-free bakery foodstuffs are a challenge for technologists and nutritionists since alternative ingredients used in their formulations have poor functional and nutritional properties. Objective: To prepare gluten-free Laddoo using raw and popped amaranth, a grain with high quality nutrients and promising good sensory qualities and formulate the best combinations. Method: Amaranth grains were washed, spread over filter paper sheet and dried completely. After drying, the grains were ground in an electric grinder to fine powder and supplemented at 50 and 100 per cent level in the preparation of Laddoos. The Laddoos prepared by using Bengal gram flour served as control. Result: The best formulation for Laddoo included 100% popped amaranth grains and 30–40% raw amaranth flour which produced good sensory quality and higher in nutrients like protein and minerals than with control laddoo. The best Laddoo recipe had 20% of raw amaranth flour and 100% of whole-grain popped amaranth. The results of the study indicated that with the increase in incorporation level of amaranth flour in Laddoo the amount of total dietary fibre, insoluble and soluble dietary fibre increased significantly. Conclusion: This study concluded that content of macro-nutrients of the amaranth based products has advantages over the conventional gluten-free ones, offering real gluten-free foodstuffs.

Abstract: The technologies & concepts that were developed decades & centuries back, lying dormant got rejuvenated & redeployed by the recent strides in Electronic, Automation & Mechatronics fields. Computing & communication sectors had been playing pivotal role in this gainful redeployment of old techniques. Few of them are briefed in this paper along with the developments with integration of new innovative Mechatronic technologies. The technologies that are covered in this paper are: (1) Four square Method of Testing Mechanical Transmission elements - Testing Mechanical transmission components in Automobile industry; (2) Flywheel Energy Storage systems (FESS) – Non conventional Energy storage system; (3) Four bar linkage mechanism or Double drag link transmissions gainfully employed in Paper Roll to sheeting lines; (4) Deployment of Differential transmission in Horizontal Centrifuges – Solid Liquid separation; (5) Power generation in river canal upstream using Archimedes screw turbines. The paper also dwells on the technical intricacies in each application including brief on evolution of basic concept of each of the above application. Few applications details also explained in detail here and identifies sectors of industries that got benefitted out of such adaptations. The paper tries to prove that no intellectual thinking is a wasted effort and surely the concepts culminate in to great applications. It is an effort of the paper to evoke intellectual interest of the reader to identify simple solutions to a complicated problem through right mix of Old concepts & current day developments by siting examples & details.

Abstract: Numerous anthropogenic pressures, including periodic fires, affect the current functioning and structure of tropical savannas. The objective was to contribute to the evaluation of the effects of fires on the woody cover in the high Guinean savannas of Cameroon. The work took place in the Mbakaou and Ngaoundal districts in the Djerem Division. Floristic inventories were carried out in transects 1 km long and 20 m wide. A total of 100 transects were carried out, covering an area of 30 ha. For each parameter studied, the analysis of variance was performed using XLSTAT and the Excel software was used to produce the graphs. The results show that the specific diversity is globally low with 49 species, 44 genera and 20 families. The most dominant species are Entada africana and Piliostigma thonningii. The families of great ecological importance are Fabaceae and Combretaceae. The demographic structure (diameters, heights, dhp) of the savannas follows an "L" shaped distribution. Thus, fires contribute to the erosion of biodiversity. It is urgent to take adequate measures to limit bush fires.

Abstract: The impact of cotyledon activation on brown rice Rice (Oryza sativa), Aerial yam (Dioscorea bulbifera) and black turtle bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) was studied. Composite flours were prepared using cotyledon activated brown rice (GBR), aerial yam (AYF) and black turtle bean (GTB). The ratio of GBR: AYF: GTB used in the flour formulations were: 100GBR: 0AYF: 0GTB; 0GBR: 100AYF: 0GTB; 0GBR: 0AYF: 100GTB; 33.33GBR: 33.33AYF: 33.33GTB; 66.67GBR: 16.67AYF: 16.67GTB, 16.67GBR: 66.67AYF: 16.67GTB and 16.67GBR: 16.67AYF: 66.67GTB. Proximate composition, functional properties, antinutrients, minerals, vitamins, amino acid profile and antioxidant activity of the composite flours were determined using standard procedures. Protein efficiency ratio, essential amino acid index and biological value were calculated from the amino acid profile. Results showed ash content (2.72-3.20%), fibre (2.12-2.42%), protein (13.23-39.31%), tannin (0.973-1.120mg/100g), saponin (1.95-2.44 mg/g), oxalate (2.50-3.38mg/g), water absorption capacity (107.71–190.23%), oil absorption capacity (145.30-296.70%), water solubility index (16.05-17.78%), swelling capacity (230.10-250.50%), calcium (36.64-40.62mg/100g), phosphorus (84.84-88.93mg/100g), manganese (0.46-0.57mg/100g), magnesium (1741.20-1823.20mg/100g), vitamin B1 (2.75-4.06mg/100g, B2 (2.01-2.78 mg/100g, B3 (2.20-4.83mg/100g), B6 (2.63-3.98mg/100g) B12 (1.59-5.95mg/100g), essential amino acid index (70-99%), protein efficiency ratio (1.95–3.79), and biological value (70-96%). Nutrients and antioxidant properties were improved through the cotyledon activation process, level of antinutrients were safe and below toxicity level. The composite flour is invaluable as functional ingredient in food formulation.

Abstract: The scientific article deals with the unification of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the light of its participation in the EEU Treaty. For full and equal participation in integration processes, efforts to bring the legislation of member states in line with the norms and principles within the EAEU are at the forefront. The Kyrgyz Republic, as one of the EAEU participants, is actively working to unify national legislation in accordance with the requirements of the integration association. Despite the fact that more than 7 years have passed since Kyrgyzstan became a member of the EAEU, problems remain. There is no freedom of trade and freedom of movement of goods, services, labor and capital between EEU members. A lot of barriers are created at the internal borders of EEU member countries. Businessmen from Kyrgyzstan cannot freely transfer goods to Kazakhstan and Russia. This is especially noticeable with the beginning of the pandemic from 2020. The EAEU as an integration association must show its effectiveness. Within the EAEU, the national interests of all member states must be taken into account. If this balance is not observed in the future, there will be a question of further participation of its members. Gradually, the EAEU as a regional international economic organization will lose its authority. For Kyrgyzstan, of course, it will be a difficult decision to leave the EEU. But, the state's trade and economic interests must come first. We must look for new markets for goods and access to the sea. In the near future, it is planned to build the China - Kyrgyzstan - Uzbekistan railroad. Perhaps this railroad will solve the closed nature of our economy.
