Abstract: At present, the treatment of mania with bipolar disorder mainly was used with mood stabilizers or mood stabilizers combined with atypical antipsychotic drugs. In China, traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)or TCM intergrated with western medicine is also one of the important methods of treating mania, which have been a trend because less side effect and higher accepbility. This study is assessing the differences of effects between Chinese and western integrative medicine(CWIM) and single western medicine in the treatment of mania. Searches were applied to the following electronic databases in china: Chinese Biomedical Database (CBM), China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), WANFANG and Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index (VIP) databases.The15 studies articles meeting our criteria were analyzed by based-evidence medicine, comparing their difference in changes of symptoms, efficacy rate. The lower manic symptoms in CWIM group than single western medicine group were found (Z=88.76, P<0.00001, WMD=-5.82, 95%CI -5.94~-5.69). It is suggested that the combination of Chinese medicine and Western medicine is more effective than western medicine in improving manic symptoms. The very significant higher effective rate in CWIM group than single western medicine group were found (78.9%vs67.2%, Z=4.77, P<0.00001, OR=1.90, 95%CI 1.46~2.48). It is also suggested that the combination of Chinese medicine and Western medicine is more effective than western medicine alone. Conclusion: These results show that effect of CWIM is better than single western medicine in the treatment of mania of bipolar disorder.

Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of auricular acupoints on improving skin pruritus in hemodialysis patients. Methods: Sixty patients with maintenance hemodialysis accompanied by pruritus were randomly divided into treatment group and control group and treated with auricular acupoints for Twenty-four weeks. The degree of pruritus was assessed by skin pruritus scale, and the correlation between skin pruritus score and pre-dialysis blood phosphorus, PTH and beta-2 microglobulin was discussed. Before treatment, Twelve weeks after treatment and Twenty-four weeks after treatment, the changes of skin pruritus scale score, prepermeable creatinine, prepermeable urea nitrogen, blood phosphorus, PTH and beta 2 microglobulin were collected. Results: After two courses of treatment, the skin itch score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P < 0.01), and the curative effect increased with the course of treatment (P < 0.01). The skin itch score was positively correlated with the levels of blood phosphorus, PTH and beta 2 microglobulin before dialysis (P < 0.01). Conclusions: Auricular acupoint therapy can improve skin pruritus symptoms in maintenance hemodialysis patients, and the curative effect increases with the course of treatment. Skin pruritus score is positively correlated with the levels of blood phosphorus, PTH and beta 2 microglobulin before dialysis. skin pruritus in dialysis patients is also closely related to the levels of blood phosphorus, PTH and beta 2 microglobulin. The method of auricular acupoint operation is simple. This study provides a safe, simple and effective treatment method for alleviating patients' pain and improving patients' quality of life. It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.

Abstract: The four diagnostics of Chinese medicine are the methods used by doctors to examine patients through their own sensory examinations, including four methods of inspection, auscultation, interrogation and palpation, and use the theory and thinking of Chinese medicine to identify and analyze the disease data to guide clinical practice. The sensory judgment of the doctor is subjective and susceptible to the external environment and the psychological state of the patient. Therefore, the "objectification" of the four diagnoses of TCM has become a hot research field in the diagnosis of TCM, that is, using computer technology, biological technology, and statistical analysis. We will collect more objective disease data in order to achieve standardization and standardization of syndrome diagnosis and syndrome differentiation.

Abstract: To explore the clinical effect and treatment mechanism of Yanghe decoction, to develop its utilization in clinic and the curative effect of TCM, we made a comprehensive summary of the status quo of clinical and experimental research of Yanghe decoction. By reading literature of nearly 10 years, it is evidential that Yanghe decoction has the effect of anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer and analgesic efficacy, widely used in clinical inside and outside, department of gynecology and pediatrics, especially in tumor, orthopedics, gynecology, peripheral vascular disease whose clinical reports is more. We found those diseases have Yang deficiency, qi and blood impassability in common, which reflects the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine. Some progress has been made in the basic study of Yanghe decoction treating mastitis, breast cancer, ankylosing spondylitis, which also provides a basis for exploring its treatment mechanism.
