Up to now, the heavy workload of middle school students is a common problem, which is still questioned by parents, concerned by the government and hotly debated by the society. The author summarizes the following eight aspects: the content of subject courses is difficult, the class hours are too many, the homework burden is too heavy, the exams are too complicated, the subject competition is fierce, the training outside school is popular, and the physical and mental health is not good. Recognizing these problems can help to optimize the education and teaching ecology and achieve green enrollment rate.
