Abstract

Considering the elements and factors which constitute the pedagogical concepts of personal order and personal disorder, a pedagogical scale is being developed to assess which level of personal order an individual has. Consequently, the pedagogical scale for assessing personal order has been developed by establishing three main sections, based on the three fundamental elements established for personal order. These three elements are property or possessions; life or security to preserve life; and truth. As these are also the elements established for social order, from where emerges the term personal order. In the first section, tangible and intangible properties or possessions belonging to oneself, to other people, and from the environment were considered. Because the possessions a person has depend not only on what they have done, but also on what the people around them have done, and what resources are provided by their environment. In the second section on life, the preservation of life in all its facets, questions were developed about how one preserves life in relation to oneself and in relation to other people, and about how the health or life provided by the environment impacts our personal order or our personal disorder. Because as human beings we always learn from others, and we depend on others and on the environment for survival. Therefore, the questions developed for this section are related to physical, mental, economic, and social health. For the third section, several questions have been developed on the treatment of truth, or respect for the agreements made with oneself, with other people, including family, friends, and neighbours, and with the environment, as the community, organizations, institutions, civil servants, etc. It is recommended to use the scale with the help of a professional for a more in-depth analysis of the information extracted, but it can also be used personally for a general, less in-depth, and more superficial self-diagnosis. Since assessing personal order may involve working with highly confidential information, it must be protected to prevent any misuse.
