01About This Special Issue
Phenology is time of recurring phenomenon. In broad term, it is biological clock which deals with flowering, fruiting, seeding and leafing like events in plants. Phenology is the word which comes from Greek word "Phenomao" which means to appear or to come into view. Phenology of plants is closely related with surrounding environment. Abiotic factors changes whole scenario or trend of phenological cycle of any species. Factors such as temperature, wind speed, rain, sun shine hours plays vital role. Depending on climate, plant adapt in such a way that it can survive and remain present in the nature as long as possible. Lot of plants have been diminished due to adverse environment. This study is very useful in forest areas particularly of wild species as adaptation mechanism of wild forest species in relation with climate, is need of time. We know that current question of climate change has caused lot of thinking worldwide. Hence, articles on phenology, forest flora and climate will be highly useful to researchers, students and all environmentalists all over the world.Aims and Scope:
