Advanced Comminution Technology for Leaching

01About This Special Issue

The leaching process has been widely used for treating minerals, such as copper, gold, silver and uranium. It has been adopted as a commonly used process in most gold mines all over the world from 1890, and then quickly replaced other processes at that time. Declining head grade and finer dissemination in gold ores have gradually caused difficulties in mineral processing, attaching more and more importance to find new comminution methods. In addition, the different physical, chemical and surface properties associated with the products including particle size, shape, roughness, surface area, porosity and micro-cracks arising from different comminution techniques should also be explored in detail.
This special issue is to improve the dissemination of advanced research in the area of leaching technology and the application of different advanced comminution methods. Original research papers are solicited in any aspect of Chemical beneficiation, Crushing equipment, Leaching simulation, et al.

Aims and Scope, but are not limited to:

Advanced comminution methods
Gold/Copper leaching
Leaching process optimization
High pressure grinding rolls
The development of heap leaching
Leaching kinetics
Cracks on particle surface
Leaching process simulation
