Abstract: International students’ understanding and internalization of the grand concept of a “Community with a Shared Future for Mankind” are not derived solely from classroom instruction or official publicity; rather, they emerge gradually through everyday encounters with the cultural, social, and ecological dimensions of their host city. However, existing research has paid little attention to the theoretical linkage between “place experience” and “macro-narratives.” Taking Pu’er City in Yunnan Province and its international students from South and Southeast Asia as empirical references, this paper introduces place attachment theory to construct a three-tier explanatory framework that moves from “place image perception” to “consciousness of a community with a shared future.” The framework proposes that such consciousness is not a direct import of abstract ideals; instead, it is formed through multiple pathways of place attachment—cognitive image, emotional experience, and functional dependence—which enable students to embody and recognize the geo-symbiotic, empathetic, and functionally interdependent dimensions of the shared-future vision. This study offers a new theoretical perspective for understanding how macro-ideals are realized at the micro-level, and provides scholarly support for border cities to foster a community with a shared future through international student education.

Investigation and Analysis on Influencing Factors of College Students' Academic Satisfaction

Abstract: Academic satisfaction is a core indicator for evaluating the quality of higher education and students’ learning experience. Based on the M-R (S-O-R) model, this study takes perceived social support as the environmental stimulus (S), academic self-efficacy as the organism response (O), and academic satisfaction as the behavioral response (R), to explore the interaction mechanism among the three variables. Taking 205 college students as research subjects, this research adopts methods of literature review, questionnaire survey and statistical analysis, and uses SPSS to conduct reliability and validity analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and mediating effect test. The results show that: (1) Perceived social support, academic self-efficacy and academic satisfaction are significantly positively correlated; (2) Perceived social support can directly and positively predict academic satisfaction; (3) Academic self-efficacy plays a partial mediating role between perceived social support and academic satisfaction, with the mediating effect size of 23.4%; (4) The M-R model is applicable to the study of college students’ academic psychology. The research indicates that improving college students’ academic satisfaction can be achieved not only by strengthening external social support from family, school and peers, but also indirectly by cultivating academic self-efficacy. The findings enrich the research on the influencing mechanism of academic satisfaction, and provide empirical evidence and practical references for colleges to carry out academic guidance, optimize education services and enhance students’ learning experience.

Abstract: As the customs‑closure operation of Hainan Free Trade Port enters a critical stage, institutional opening‑up has created huge demand for compound rule‑of‑law talents in foreign‑related legal affairs, grassroots governance and ecological protection. However, Hainan’s legal education is still trapped in the stereotype of “valuing theory over practice”, and practical legal teaching cannot well meet the job demands of the Free Trade Port. Adopting literature research, case analysis and comparative research, this paper sorts out the policy foundations and university explorations of Hainan’s practical legal teaching system, analyzes its dilemmas in demand matching, resource coordination, curriculum setting, dual‑competency teachers and quality assurance, and identifies underlying causes from top‑level design, university positioning, practical‑sector incentives and supporting conditions. Based on the “demand‑resource‑capacity” analytical framework, this study establishes a “four‑dimensional integrated” teaching model following four principles: local‑demand orientation, collaborative integration, tiered progression and differentiated development. It designs three practical modules covering foreign‑related rule of law, grassroots governance and people‑centered legal services, and builds a three‑level guarantee system, a three‑phase progressive teaching process as well as a multi‑dimensional assessment system. Targeted optimization paths and supporting measures concerning policy, resources and quality supervision are proposed to advance university‑local integration, competence‑oriented curriculum reform and dual‑competency faculty construction. The results show that this system effectively solves fragmentation and supply‑demand mismatch in local practical legal teaching. It helps cultivate high‑quality rule‑of‑law talents for Hainan Free Trade Port and offers referential experience for legal education reform in China’s special regions.

Abstract: Geopolitical competition and national industrial policies are continuously reshaping the global semiconductor division of labor. Leveraging its comprehensive industrial advantages, Malaysia has steadily absorbed mature packaging capacity from China, gradually triggering supply instability in the domestic back-end manufacturing sector. Although China ranks among the world leaders in packaging and testing (P&O) industry scale, its production capacity remains geographically concentrated, and there are notable gaps in high-end supporting capabilities. The outflow of mature packaging operations directly undermines the foundation for local technological advancement. Existing research has not fully mapped the transmission process of this targeted capacity shift or provided regionally tailored risk management strategies aligned with China’s industrial disparities. Based on China’s current P&O industry layout, technological development status, and Malaysia’s industrial absorption characteristics, this study analyzes the internal logic through which capacity relocation impacts supply chain resilience, dissects multi-layered risk transmission pathways, distinguishes between short-term market fluctuations and long-term value chain restructuring, and objectively identifies structural weaknesses that amplify risk diffusion. Findings indicate that the outflow of mature packaging capacity simultaneously compresses the operating space of upstream and downstream suppliers, reduces investment in advanced process R&D, and amplifies external policy shocks due to multinational corporations diversified global footprint. To address real-world challenges such as imbalanced domestic industrial distribution, insufficient technological self-reliance, and overly centralized overseas expansion models, optimizing tiered domestic capacity allocation, advancing full-chain breakthroughs in advanced packaging technologies, and diversifying offshore low-value-added processes can effectively buffer the disruption caused by capacity relocation, thereby strengthening the semiconductor supply chain’s autonomy, resilience, and recovery capability.

Abstract: Against the dual context of advancing the Rule‑of‑Law China initiative and developing the Hainan Free Trade Port, legal education urgently needs to break through the bottleneck of “disconnection between theory and practice”. As a core link bridging legal theories and judicial practice, clinical legal education’s model innovation bears a direct bearing on the quality of Hainan‑featured legal talent cultivation. Rooted in local legal demands of the Hainan Free Trade Port, including business‑environment improvement, maritime rights‑and‑interests protection and ecological civilization construction, this paper draws on practical cases from Hainan Open University to systematically analyze the practical dilemmas confronting practical legal teaching in Hainan Province. It constructs a clinical legal education model featuring “demand‑orientation‑dual‑track support‑three‑phase progression‑four‑dimensional evaluation”, and puts forward optimization approaches concerning resource integration, curriculum upgrading and faculty development.
